ANY UNUSUAL STORIES ABOUT YOUR FAMILY?"My family is full of teachers (dad, mom, sister, grandma, several cousins). When I was really young, I wanted to follow in their footsteps. At my high school graduation, students opened time capsules they made in 6th grade. Within my time capsule, I had written down that I wanted to be an architect. I have no recollection of when my career choice changed, but during my senior year I was already accepted to the College of Architecture & Planning program at Ball State. My time capsule just reinforced how long I had stuck with my own dream."
